Sophiane Nacer wanted to give this homeless dog the best ‘end of days’ possible, despite the fact that he was too sick to save. She promised that Hippo, an elderly stray with tumors, would only know love after he died.
“Even if it was just for a day,” Sophiane, the 19-year-old founder of Cayleb’s Kindred Senior Dog Rescue, told TODAY, Hippo was going to have the best last day ever.
After a five-day waiting period, Sophiane adopted Hippo and brought him home from the shelter. The skin of the poor dog hurt to touch. Because Hippo was in so much pain, Sophiane wasn’t sure if he could experience much.
When she saw his tail wag, all her doubts vanished. There was still hope for the sick dog. Before he left this world, he FOUGHT to feel love and happiness.
So Sophiane brought Hippo to Starbucks and bought him a Puppuccino, a Starbucks secret menu item that dogs adore, which is simply a cup filled with delectable whipped cream.
Hippo was still in good spirits the next day, so Sophiane brought him to a dog park to let him run around. He loved every second of it! He had something to say to Sophiane, though.The old dog, who was suffering but hopeful, had something to say to his new best friend… He was all set to leave. He was overjoyed that he had the opportunity to spend time with Sophiane, but he was tired and in pain, and it was time to say his goodbyes.
After the dog park, Sophiane had a vet euthanasia specialist come to her home. The vet had prepared a roasted chicken with sedatives inside for him. He was able to eat his final meal as comfortably as possible with Sophiane by his side before drifting off to a painless permanent sleep.
While this story is sad in many ways, it also has a positive side. A dying dog, who had only known suffering, was given the opportunity to spend the rest of his life, albeit brief, feeling loved and wanted.

Someone informed Kokkachi Shelter about a small puppy wounded around his stomach, so the volunteers team went there and checked at that time he was outside the cave but they doesn’t had anything in their hands to caught him.
So they went back to the shelter and took all necessary requirements like cloth,milk,bag etc. The team came back ,by the time he entered to the cave and not coming outside . Someone pour a milk in a bowl and placed outside the cave and waited few hours.
After few hours he came outside the cave,by the time they closed the cave with a wooden blocks. And caught the puppy and covered the wound with a cloth and took him to a veterinary clinic at Calicut .
The rescue operation was very hard, he always was going inside each time they tried to catch him. The cave was very big so it took a while to catch him.
Unfortunately the veterinary hospitals were not opened as it was a holiday. Finally they found a gentle doctor who accept to treat him, Dr shihabudheen he did all treatement without paying any thing.
After treatement they took the puppy into kokkachi ‘s shelter. “And he will be a part of kokkachi family”.
The puppy recovered quickly, he have a lot of energy. All the staff in the shelter loved him from the first time they saw him. He have so beautiful eyes.

One dog’s family had to leave him behind due to a physical impairment, and they were concerned about what would happen to him. But he got the love and attention he needed from a tiny band of compassionate rescuers. Animal control officers in Huntsville, Texas, acquired Bjarni, a mixed-breed dog with a remarkable look, in 2015.
Half of the dog’s lips and nose were gone. Since he was attacked by another animal, he has crooked teeth and bite marks. He was having trouble breathing and eating. The owners of Bjarni were found by animal control officers. Sadly, it appears that they had little desire to get their puppy and instead chose to let him pass away.
Bjarni was returned to the shelter when his family turned around. Thankfully, a few guardian angels intervened to make sure the sick dog received the treatment he required.
The founder of the Texas-based animal rescue group St. Francis’ Angels, Anne Graber, took Bjarni in after learning about his illness and pledged to care for him until he was well enough to be adopted. Despite his physical restrictions, Graber describes the dog as “vivacious and charming”.
Graber searched for clinics that offered the procedure since she was committed to improving Bjarni’s appearance. The Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists’ Jason Balara was found and consented to rebuild the dog’s snout. St. Francis’ Angels donated money for medical expenses via their Facebook page. Additionally, many people gave, giving $5,100 in in-kind gifts to the cause.
Bjarni’s sinus and nasal canals were also rebuilt over the course of treatment. Graber projected that the surgery will make the dog “very cute and very adoptable,” make it easier for him to breathe and feed himself, and improve his appearance. Given that Bjarni turned out to be a quite different dog, that was a significant accomplishment.
Bjarni had new life after his surgery. A new family received him a few months later. Graber asserts that she was happy to assist Bjarni since she is aware of how his situation would have changed if she hadn’t.

There were challenges on Xiao Fu’s quest. In addition to undergoing various tests, it underwent a blood transfusion. The volunteers encountered uncertain and discouraging circumstances at times, yet they persisted. They trusted the tenacity of Xiao Fu.
A CT scan, however, produced disastrous results. A crucial nerve and bone were damaged by the tumor’s head-wide expansion. The volunteers persevered despite the fact that surgery was not an option. They discovered that Xiao Fu had a kind of cancer called a vascular fibroma, which was amenable to medication.
After receiving ongoing care for two months, Xiao Fu had put on weight and was receiving the assistance it required. Although its future was still in doubt, Xiao Fu was able to live each day without remorse, surrounded by warmth and dedication, thanks to the love and support it had received.
